october twenty-two

Lunch with the parents was the perfect excuse to pop into an op shop or two today, were I found this crazy 60s full skirted cotton dress. It's very soft, and to my surprise it fit! The pattern is a tartan with little labels on it.

Also this week, I framed the cross-stitch I finished a few weeks back. The frame is from the Warehouse, and I used some white felt to line the back and on the front. Although it's a little wonky, I still think it's quite sweet!

We're off to Christchurch this weekend for a birthday party bbq. I'm hoping to squeeze in a little shopping, but with my limited funds and our small bag, it'll be a challenge!

october eighteen

After my busy week in Wellington working (and drinking delicious wine) I didn't feel up to working again today. A trip out and about landed me diet coke, a cookie and a cute yellow floral dress. I'm yet to wash it as I'm not sure what it's made from, but it was $4, and I'm planning on gifting it to a friend.

october three

This past Saturday I had lunch with my parents. Afterward, we wandered by the op shops in Takapuna. At the City Mission shop I picked up this minty green cotton house coat, perfect for the summer and this brown purse, complete with a tag still attached. The white silk square was $2!

From the Hospice Shop I got a book called 'The Chelsea Project' about the Chelsea sugar factory, a  35mm photography guide for Zac and this exciting board game 'Manhunt'. I can't wait to try it out!
